Maggie French, Yoga instructor and meditation leader
Hi! My name is Maggie French, and for 30 years I have been fascinated with the practice and teaching the art of yoga and meditation, both of which are ways to cultivate mindfulness. One of the most important things I have learned over the years is how to pay attention on purpose to whatever is arising in my life.
Our lives unfold in time, in discreet moments constantly arising and passing away. We exist in a flow of time where what was once past flows into the present and that present flows into the future, ever moving like a river. If we do not learn to be fully alive in the momentary present, we will miss our lives, becoming absentee landlords of our own estates. So please take the time to practice yoga - it is a wonderful way to take the "edge" off of your day!
